Vinted Users Voice Frustration About Sizing Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
This online marketplace has updated its size classifications for women's and children's garments but did not contact all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with other platforms.
They have suggested members to review their products and manually change the size if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Modifications
Previously, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
Another shopper, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options following member complaints.
