Aerial Pictures Reveal Iranian Naval Forces and Nuclear Sites Damaged by American and Israeli Attacks.

Multiple joint strikes has according to analysis eliminated or harmed no fewer than eleven warships belonging to Iran starting the weekend, recently obtained orbital imagery show, with launch facilities and atomic facilities also sustaining hits.

Pictures of the southerly Konarak naval base and the Bandar Abbas facility, which overlooks the Strait of Hormuz and is home to the main command of the Iranian navy, depict black smoke pouring from a number of warships on Monday and Tuesday.

Maritime Forces Sustained Significant Losses

Among the vessels destroyed was the Makran, Iran's most sizable ship which had been used as a unmanned aerial vehicle platform. Orbital photos indicated thick smoke rising from the ship which had been stationed at the Bandar Abbas base.

Analytical assessments indicate that at least a quintet of warships at the port were "struck or destroyed". Imagery of the southern end of the harbor show smoke emanating from the IRINS Makran, while another pair of ships are visibly damaged, with a single one seen burning.

At Konarak, images show multiple stricken ships, with analysis identifying strikes against six vessels. Images from the start of the week also indicate that several facilities at the installation have been leveled.

"For decades the Iranian regime has threatened global maritime traffic," an American commander declared. "Today, there is not one vessel from Iran underway in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz or Sea of Oman, and we will persist."

Some vessels reportedly sunk may have been concealed in aerial photos by cloud or smoke, or struck at sea, and have not been conclusively proven. Other accounts stated that a ship from Iran was sinking off the coast of Sri Lankan territorial waters, leading to a rescue operation.

Missile Installations and Nuclear Facilities Hit

Neutralizing Iranian missile bases and the hindering of atomic bomb programs were declared as additional objectives of the offensive. Satellite images also showed strikes on the southerly Khorgu and north-western Tabriz missile bases, and at the Konarak base, where weapons bunkers and fortifications were targeted.

At the Choqa Balk-e UAV facility west of the city of Kermanshah, significant destruction was observed to sheds, underground facilities and unmanned aircraft systems.

Damage was also observed at a radar site at the Zahedan airbase airbase in eastern Iran, close to the frontier with Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Perhaps most notably, the latest wave of strikes have reportedly targeted sites at the Natanz complex – long said to be at the heart of the country's enrichment efforts. The UN's atomic energy body commented that the affected structures were used for entry to the facility's underground nuclear plant and that "no radiological consequence" was likely.

Broader Consequences and Assessment

Defense experts suggested that the offensive appeared to have "significantly degraded" the Iranian navy's capability to conduct conventional attacks using its biggest vessels. But, it was stressed that Iran still has the capacity to launch asymmetric warfare at sea through the use of drones, midget subs and its so-called "shadow fleet" of tankers.

The total scale of the damage caused to Iran's defense facilities remains unclear, with attacks reportedly continuing. Photos also reveals extensive destruction to the command center of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the city of Tehran.

A large number of civilian buildings also seem to have been hit in the capital and across Iran since the conflict escalated. Toll estimates from ground sources suggest that hundreds of non-combatants may have been killed in the bombardment.

Amid continuing hostilities, analysis of aerial photographs will carry on to document the evolving scope of damage.
